The mission of UjimaCare is to bring relief to all ethnic groups, particularly focusing on orphans and deserted children and families in remote parts of the world. Directing people toward a new vision and assisting them with the skills and resources for a better future. In this regard we create a synchronized and conducive world for indigent children thus helping to eradicate poverty around the world. It is our belief that if children are cared for properly and educated, the problems associated with poverty like child slavery, prostitution and trafficking will be completely eradicated. Below are summaries of what we do to help indigent children all over the world but there's a lot of work to be done with very limited resources so we need your help in accomplishing these goals.

Clinics
UjimaCare provides medical care that benefits the entire community. It is extremely difficult in most cases for those who live in the remote villages to get access to medical care due to lack of transportation to major cities. Also the lack of infrastructure makes it almost impossible for both children and adults to get adequate medical care. This is where UjimaCare is committed to continue to expand in a relentless effort to provide those in need with accessible quality health care.

Outreach programs
This program is predicated on providing balanced meals, activities and educational opportunities for children and families. It involves having fun all day long getting familiar with the children and interacting with the community to provide an environment to better meet their needs. The mission of UjimaCare Outreach is to improve the living standards of children with disastrous situations worldwide, through the transfer of knowledge, technology, and organizational skills. Through this program, we provide a loving family atmosphere for each child and give them the assurance that there are people that love and care about them.

Pre-schools
UjimaCare continually funds and operates pre-school projects to provide what is essential to help lay a foundation for a life that loves to learn. We additionally provide meals and learning through a fun filled atmosphere. We have caring teachers, clean and interactive environments, as well as school readiness programs to instill in the children a life long thirst for knowledge. Our pre-school program also provides the children with emotional, intellectual and socialization skills that they lack as a result of their circumstances. We emphasize playing and interacting with other children as much as possible to help the children develop their social skills. Because of their circumstances, these indigent children often do not have the opportunity to play, learn, share, or otherwise interact with other children of similar ages. In our preschool that opportunity is built in every day.

Resources
In working and interacting with those in need or leaders of remote villages and partnering with like minded organizations, UjimaCare yearns to customize programs and provide the resources to help whole communities and individuals to grow and become more self sustaining. With our resources, we are able to provide education and safe living environments to children in remote parts of the world. These disadvantaged children would remain illiterate, and continue their life of poverty without any hope of change but with your help we can provide the resources needed to ammend this problem.

Bicycles
A bike can positively affect a life in a poor country but for enumerate number of people on the lowest incomes, a new bicycle is financially beyond their reach. For the moment, millions of completely excellent bicycles lie unutilised in North America, Europe and other places in the Western world. UjimaCare raises funds and collects unwanted bicycles to send to dependable affiliates in developing countries to provide affordable means of transportation. In developing countries we work at the grassroots level to ascertain that deprived and disadvantaged people are duly constituted through better access to food and water, employment, healthcare, education and social opportunities. Moreover, we work hard to assure accountability and effectiveness in all UjimaCare's projects.

Computers
UjimaCare provides computers to underserved people and communities around the world. From our Columbus-based computer refurbishing and reuse programs to schools and organizations in the remote parts of the world, we make a connection that makes a difference. We help people in western countries choose to reuse by giving their old computer to someone in need in a developing country. We believe that reusing a computer is more green than recycling because reusing just one computer with a standard CRT monitor prevents emission of over 1,000 pounds of carbon dioxide! We create opportunity through technology and help our environment in the process. We provide these computers to schools and organizations in developing countries. We are also a Microsoft Authorized refurbisher so every computer we refurbish comes with a Microsoft Certificate of Authentication (COA) software installed.

Better Health Care
With the enormous growth of the youth population in developing countries, having access to good health care will greatly increase their economic growth. UjimaCare is committed to building new clinics as well as improving existing ones in every community.

Better Job Training
With 1.3 billion young people now living in the developing countries, there has never been a better time to invest in their training because they will join the workforce with fewer dependents due to changing demographics. However, failure to seize this opportunity to train them more effectively for the workplace, and to be active citizens, could lead to widespread disillusionment and social tensions. We at UjimaCare are dedicated to helping the youth to achieve their potential and help develop their communities.
